Maksim Mayorov (Russian: Макси́м Оле́гович Майо́ров; born March 26, 1989 in Andijan, Uzbek SSR, Soviet Union) is a Russian professional ice hockey player currently playing for the Columbus Blue Jackets affiliate, the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.
Maksim Mayorov attracted the attention of NHL scouts when playing for Neftyanik Leninogorsk in 2006–07. He was rated 4th over-all among European players by the NHL Central Scouting. The Columbus Blue Jackets chose him 94th over-all in the 4th round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. He started the 2007–08 season with Ak Bars Kazan 3rd level team but was elevated to the main Russian Super League team. He current plays for the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League after being called up from the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League on January 3, 2009.
